How to Read an EPUB File On Your Kindle

This method works for Kindle e-readers, Kindle apps, and Kindle Cloud Library.

What You Need

• Your purchased EPUB file (From Smashwords.com or other digital retailer)
• An Amazon account
• A Kindle device or the Kindle app

Steps

1. Go to https://www.amazon.com/sendtokindle
2. Sign in with the Amazon account linked to your Kindle
3. Click Select files from your device
4. Choose the EPUB file you downloaded
5. Select the Kindle device or app you want to send it to
6. Click Send

Amazon will automatically convert the EPUB to a Kindle-friendly format, and the book will appear on your Kindle within a few minutes.
